Proud to announce Craft ACT membership
I recently applied for membership of Craft ACT and I am very happy to announce I was successfully accepted as a member.
Although I am not currently living in the ACT, I continue to have strong ties with Canberra and the ACT. I am yet to come across an association offering similar benefits in NSW or Sydney – do get in touch if you know of one.
From their website:
“Craft ACT: Craft and Design Centre is a not-for-profit membership based organisation which supports artists, craft practitioners, designers and makers at every stage of their careers. We promote and celebrate excellence and innovation in contemporary craft in everything we do – in our retail space, exhibitions, events and membership program.”
I have previously sold through the shop there, and look forward to participating in some of their events in the future. Hopefully I can manage more trips to Canberra to see the changing exhibitions too, I can drop by in a few weeks when I am in Canberra for the Handmade Markets.
You can see some of the other talented artists and members in the members directory and also see the changing exhibition lists.
